  1. Support user needs during the Fire Safety Project
    1. Provide training and communication so that staff keep updated and informed of changes
    2. Develop procedures and train staff and student assistants in providing service
      1. Paging of materials
      2. Assisting patrons in finding materials, relocated and temporary
      3. Relocation of faculty studies and  graduate student carrels
  2. Provide basic reference / information services at Uris 
    1. Working in conjunction with Research and Learning Service, provide staff ongoing training 
  3. Foster faculty use of online reserve system (Ares) and Blackboard
    1. Work with selectors to increase faculty /department knowledge and use of Ares and Blackboard
  4. For quality public service, increase cross training and deployment of Olin and Uris student assistants
    1. To foster knowledge of combined Olin/ Uris collections 
    2. Keep students up-to-date on Fire Safety Project so that they will be able to work with public
  5. Eliminate manual circulation file
    1. Train staff on barcoding  material to be circulated at desk
  6. Increase  Library Public Services Office information, forms and application on Library web site
    1. Develop online  forms for bill appeals, library card applications for affiliates and Ithaca  City School District teachers
