The Olin, Kroch & Uris Libraries Orientation Tours are designed to introduce new members of the Cornell community to the three libraries along the south side of Cornell’s Arts Quad at the heart of central campus. Tours are given at the start of each academic year. Please read our full orientation schedule for 2012. Together, those three libraries contain 3.5 million volumes—almost half of the Cornell University Library’s physical collections, and some of its most unusual and valuable books and manuscripts. These tours provide an introduction to the collections and guide you through the buildings so that you can make the most of the libraries and their services.
You have several options for taking the audio walking tours:
You may also enjoy the Uris Library Historical Tour, where you can learn more about the history of Cornell’s oldest library.
