Wason Maps Collection 100th Anniversary

Cornell University Library officially began collecting books on East Asia in 1902 when it received special appropriations for this pursuit. The initial holdings were augmented by some 350 volumes of Chinese-language books donated to the library by the Chinese students at Cornell in 1912. Six years later Charles W. Wason gave his extraordinary collection to the Library.In honor of the 100th Anniversary of the Wason Collection, Cornell University Library presents this selection of Wason maps.
