The main computing areas in Olin & Uris Libraries offer standard desktop software for our users.
Our sit-down computers offer the following:
- Internet Explorer
- Microsoft Office 2010
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
Our stand-up kiosks are designed for quick access to internet resources and our printers. They do not have the full Microsoft Office suite. Stand-up kiosks contain Microsoft Office Readers which allow you to view and print word and powerpoint documents, but do not allow editing.
In Uris library, CIT hosts computers with access to more specialized software. For more information on these computers, along with other computers on campus, please visit CIT's software map. http://mapping.cit.cornell.edu/publiclabs/map/index.cfm
Also in Uris is the Cornell Library Collabrative Learning Computer Lab, CL3 for short. CL3 offers a wide variety of multi-media editing software, along with with equipment that can be borrowed. Please visit the CL3 site for more information. http://olinuris.library.cornell.edu/CL3
Computing and Printing support is offered by Student Computer Operators, located next to the Olin reference desk, in front of the Olin Print Center.
